We arrived in Kingston for a hockey tournament and searched for a restaurant that was able to accommodate a group of 40, half of which were kids. The owner together with his staff welcomed our team and did an amazing job. The kids had a great time, the service was the best we've seen from any east side Mario's, and they did a great job on the food. Hats off to the staff and the owner for going above and beyond! Great little cafe. A bit cramped inside but a varied menu and very reasonable prices. Probably the best clubhouse sandwich in town, comes with fries for 7.80$. Lunch specials (sandwich usually) also with fries or soup and a drink for 7$. I had the pulled pork sandwich last time, and for being as far away from southern as you can get, it was very good. Meat was moist on a white bun (a must), enough sauce, solid flavour and tangy. Even the cole slaw (I normally don't touch slaw) was excellent with just the right amount of vinegar. Service is prompt, friendly and attentive. Excellent breakfast special as well, eggs, bacon/ham, hash browns, toast for around $5. Read more

My favorite asian food restaurant in the Quinte Area by far as I am not a big fan of the local buffets. My only wish is that they would serve delicious Pho. The vermicelli dish with spring rolls and grilled pork is a delight. The lemon grass dish is another treat. Wonton soup is hot and yummy. Service is excellent. At times, it can get busy during the lunch rush, I did not have any problems. Take out is just as good. The interior decor is very nice as well. The parking is never a problem in the King George Square. Read more
