Stopped in after my wife found it on the 'net. I had the Chicken Pad Thai which is by far the tastiest dinner I've eaten in a long time. Filling too, almost needed a doggie bag. This is my first review, which I felt compelled to write seeing a negative one here. Don't believe it, this place is clean, nicely decorated and you can't beat the food. We chatted with the owner for about 15 minutes. Polite to a fault. I'm definitely coming back. And it's 2.5 hours away. Read more

My boyfriend and I are always excited to get home and go to "our" place. The food is always fresh and consistent. The atmosphere could be improved but let's be honest, you're not going there for the ambiance. The food is so delicious you're not even paying attention to your suroundings. Food: Last week was my first time trying Koganei so I didn't get to try lots of food. However, Koganei roll was one of the best roll I ever had. it's bit pricey for a roll (almost $15 with tax) but it's worth it. I do not know exactly what's in the roll (it's shrimp tempura roll with some little bit spicy orange-red stuff with tiny fish eggs on the top) but it was amazing. (I wish red stuff on the top was more spicier though.) I also tried miso base noodle soup (noodles and veggies in miso soup) which was salty for my taste. did not really like it. Service: wait staffs were nice and helpful. when i went, there weren't many people in the restaurant so i didn't have to wait long to order and get my food. Atmosphere: table setting seemed little weird to me because little table for 2 people were placed right next to booth but decor was good. Read more
