There is a reason The Keg does so well. You always get great service, great food and great atmosphere regardless of which one you go to across Canada. This location is no exception.
I have been to this place now at least 15 times over the past year and not once have I been disappointed. It seems they keep getting better and better and though my only issue is how impossible it is to get into on Friday and Saturday nights.

Very impressed with our dining experience. Two weeks ago my husband and I stopped in for our first visit, for fish & chips. Very impressed with the large portions and flavour, so much so that we were back today with four family members. One had pancakes, one had bacon/sausage and scrambled eggs, the other four of us had fish (pollock) & chips plus a side of turtles. Service was good and our waitress was delightful. What a nice little spot! The food is well prepared and everything on the menu looks appetizing. They have a different fish special every day and it is always very good. On our last visit I ordered off the menu and I was not disappointed at all.. I had the veggie wrap and instead of fries I had it with the taco soup, and it was very good.
We will be back for sure!

I go here fairly regularly because this place does it up right. It's not a huge place and gets packed fairly easily, so there have been times when I simply haven't gotten in, but you snooze you lose.
It is in an old victorian style home, taking up both floors. Downstairs seats a few tables and the main bar, while upstairs hosts a more casual atmosphere of games, chairs, etc....like you are in someones home. Decor is eclectic and funky, provides a nice touch to the visit.
Service is always good to above average, the staff are trained well, know their beers well enough, and are always smiling.
I've eaten here too many times to mention, but the wings are great, as is the cajun catfish sandwich. The wings are a great portion and the sauces are excellent. The catfish sandwich is spicy,savoury, very flavourful, well portioned, and well priced.
I like that they have Boneshaker on tap on a regular basis. In fact, they only serve craft beer which speaks to the quality of the establishment. Clientele is a mix of somewhat obnoxious college hipsters and hippies that think they are re-living Woodstock for some reason, but I don't have to like them to like the place. Keep up the great work! Great place!
