I have been going to Christina's for years, and i can honestly say that every time i go, it's a great experience. the waitresses are always lovely, and i really enjoy the homey atmosphere. Although I admit that the service can be a little slow at times, i also realize that i am not the one cooking the food, or serving it. i, as a customer, understand that there are things that happen behind the scenes that the waitresses nor the cooks can control, and that everybody makes mistakes sometimes. as far as the food, i like that it's all home made. there have been a couple times when the food was a bit over cooked for my liking, but it wasnt anything that would discourage me from going back. i think some people forget how hard it is to run a business. lighten up! one bad meal isnt the end of the world! My husband and I have been to Boo's twice. On both occassions we had a wonderful time and meal (as well as wine). The server was extremely gracious and considerate. He came to check on our meal a couple of times, but was not intrusive whatsoever (allowing for an intimate and romantic evening). The food was delicious. The servings were of good size (in our opinion) -- I was very full when I left, as was my husband. We had crab cakes for an appetizer - these were rich in real crab meat with little filler. As for mains, I had a salmon dish (the special) and my husband had Boo's signature dish (a steak). Ingredients were fresh, and there was a nice serving of vegetables (also flavourful and well done). It is a quiet atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We will definitely go back. Read more

Though the place doesn't look the most appealing, the food is great and incredibly cheap. You can get the "lunch" specials anytime of the day. The server is polite, but don't expect to get much more then your order taken and your food delivered. The food was very fast and fresh, and tasted great. I used to live in the neighborhood of this restaurant and would frequent it often. It is certainly not the least expensive Japanese restaurant in the city but I'd be hard pressed to find a better one. The sushi is always fresh and well made, Maki rolls are seasoned with chives and wasabi. Gyoza and Miso Soup are good, as expected, two things that can't really be done wrong. In the past I've had their lunch bento boxes which are a good value and are of the same quality as their dinner menu. Only complaints I'd have about this restaurant: Parking is not provided so you're at the mercy of the local pay lots. Also, when the restaurant gets really busy it gets very tight as it is a small place, and service gets really slow, But with that being said the owners are very kind and friendly.
