I went in a short while ago, and fell in love. The service is something very special. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
As for the food.
I had chicken coconut soup, followed by Scallops and risotto.
It was one of the top 3 meals I've ever experienced.
It is a little pricey, but if you feel like treating yourself, or you're trying to impress your date, this is a great little spot.

I brought my family to the Hyland this week and as always the food was excellent (and too much!) and the service was very friendly. Food is always delivered promptly, the restaurant is always clean, and overall, it is just a nice meal out with the family. I definitely recommend to any families visiting Port Perry. Bangkok Thai Cuisine was fantastic! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the service was excellent. The owner is lovely and so personable, along with her staff. We started off with the Appetizer Assortment which was soooo good and made us excited for what was to follow. We opted for the Pad Thai and we were not disappointed – it was perfectly prepared with just enough sauce and plenty of chicken and tiger shrimps. Finally, we had the Chicken Cashew and the Mixed Vegetables. Both were excellent! Overall, everything was absolutely delicious and so fresh. We will definitely be returning!

This restaurant is the best for good food and friendly service. The staff are just amazing and don't mind talking to you and always make sure every thing is alright. The food is to die for. It is sooo good, the hard part is figuring out what to order because there is so much really good food. I would suggest to anyone that they dine here. I have been going here for years and the food has been always good. I have never received bad service. The service is average but never bad.

This place is amazing! Every time we drop by for a bite to eat (well over 5 times) the food and service are exceptional. The only issue now would be probably be seating... I stopped into Boston Pizza on a Thursday night drawn in by their board out front advertising $0.50 wings in the bar. Unlike most wing-deals these wings were very meaty and a good size. Everyone in my group was also very impressed with the service and couldn't help but notice how good looking, lively and knowledgable the staff was. Compared to the BP's that I'm used to going to in the city, this small town restaurant was VERY impressive.
The staff does a good job promoting the different food/drink specials that are going on every day of the week (wings tuesday and thursday and cheap domestic beer monday night etc.).
