Lunch on the patio on a perfect summer day. Food was ok, chardonnay was served in the tiniest stemless red wine glasses - maybe four oz serving for $9 - a little pricey. Complimentary hummus and crackers served as an appy - crackers were a little stale and very crunchy!! Meatloaf was served in a soup bowl filled with mashed potatoes. The meat had fatty chunks and the portion was on the small side, but ok. Pizza was cut into four pieces served on a cutting board. Limited toppings and a little on the dry side - could have used more sauce. The day was a little windy and the arugula on top of the pizza flew away. The atmosphere was great! Beautiful view and lovely area - now if the food was as good as the view, this place would be dynamite!Read more

This was the best bang for my buck in the whole city of niagara falls. I hit 4 places while on Vacation and I tell you i was ripped off on all the other joints except for this place. I tell you, if you visit Niagara Falls, go to this place. Its not big but its real eggs and home cooking. I give this place a 10 out of 10 for the buffet.Read more

I have been going to this restaurant from day 1 when they opened and I had never had an issue with a meal, however last night we ordered salmon and it was way too salty. I couldn't eat it and was embarrassed to complain but the owner had no issues taking the plates back and preparing from scratch with no salt at all.
I know it's a difficult time for restaurants and this was just another reason I will still dine here & recommend it to everyone.
They care about their customers, food & reputation.Read more

Green Acres is a family tradition for the last ten years. Each Good Friday and a handful of times throughout the year we travel from Niagara Falls, Ontario to Fort Erie for the sole purpose of eating their fish and chips. The service is always fantastic and the food reasonably priced and excellent. We'll be visiting again this Good Friday and my stomach is already grumbling. My only complaint is that the fish and chips is so good, I never order anything else on the menu. Never-the-less, other family members have and swear by the taste and massive portions.Read more

I just moved to the Falls and was at a loss of where the hidden gems were hidden. Someone recommended Frijoles to me and I was blown away. Super friendly and helpful with ordering, crazy fresh ingredients and OMG so good.
First time in I ordered a bean burrito and was impressed by the staff asking me about requiring vegan or vegetarian options. I have since been back and had the chicken. It was equally good.
There are sauces and heat levels for all. I don't like crazy heat but want a bit of a kick. No problem.
As Arnie would say, "I'll be back!"Read more
