Cadeaux Kelly Green

When Alexandra Malka and her husband Kosta Dimitrakopoulos initially decided to venture into retail, they had their minds set on opening a general gift store. But while Alexandra was on her own pursuit for baby items in Montreal, she found a gap in the market.

“I was pregnant, I was shopping around and I couldn’t find anything I really liked,” Alexandra explains.

Her unsuccessful shopping trips sparked an idea. Just one month before opening the doors to Cadeaux Kelly Green in June 2008, the couple changed the store’s direction and it became a specialized baby gift store, and not long after, a one-stop shop for baby products.

Today Cadeaux Kelly Green and its sister store, Bébé Kelly Green, which opened in 2013, sell a number of mid- to high-end baby products ranging from furniture, strollers, car seats and high chairs to bath and feeding accessories, and much more.

Alexandra tries as much as possible to support local suppliers and sells furniture that has been made in Quebec or Canada.
