Hi. I recently stayed at the River Mist Inn in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. My room (#112) was clean and comfortable. There was lots of hot water for showers and the wifi worked well. The motel manager, Anita, was courteous, pleasant and polite. I was arriving very late (after 12 p.m.) after the motel office closed for the evening and Anita kindly accomodated my request to put ice in the room's fridge, which I greatly appreciated after a very trying day and a long drive. I found this gem through Expedia. Even though it's uptown it's in the nice Yonge-Sheppard corridor,with easy access to downtown via the subway or any suburban destination via the Highway 401. Toronto is notorious for pricey hotels,so being able to find one at around a hundred bucks a night works for me. It's located in a nice neighborhood,with lots of good shopping and dining nearby. One of the criteria, I judge a hotel by besides cleanliness is the bed and linens. All were first rate. I'd highly recommend Maryam Hotel & Suites. Read more

I stayed in this motel back in July, for 4 weeks, but unfortunately did not try their restaurant until the last week. Probably the best in Espanola.Good variety of entres. Had the primerib one night and a chicken dish another night. I think the bill each night for 2 of us was +/- $50 ,including a drink each. I have stayed in many hotels & motels in sudbury, also around Canada and the USA. The Moonlight motel stood out above other sudbury motels. The motel is like staying in a franchise hotel room with a very reasonable room rate. My room Included a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and I got one with a kitchen. As well the motel is located in a quiet area of Sudbury, very easy to get around sudbury within 10 mintues to work downtown. The management, front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and the service was above what other motels would do. The motel room I stayed in was clean when I checked in. After each day I got back from work none of my things were moved and the room was cleaned exceptional well. I was impressed with the Moonlight Inn motel that is why I am writing this review. We went here for the Easter buffet brunch and to belatedly celebrate a milestone family birthday. The atmosphere was great overall; I was glad they seated us in the bright conservatory area, rather than the dimmer interior sections. There was a wonderful variety of food choices - menu items you wouldn't typically make at home or find at any run-of-the-mill buffet restaurant. The chef at the carvery was engaging, and the table wait staff were friendly, prompt and efficient. We bought a small item at the gift shop afterward, where prices were reasonable. My only 'complaint' would be that the cost of parking isn't included with the meal. It's expensive enough to eat there, especially with the prices raised due to the special holiday. Read more
