Wonderful experience. Atmosphere is beautiful, good food, staff is always so friendly. Good deal when they have the early bird special. Went in October. The man that served my family had a darker complexion, very friendly and charismatic! Had a unique name that I wish I could remember. He joked around with us and gave my brother a free dessert for his birthday. Absolutely want to go back and have him serve us again... he was honestly the best waiter Ive ever had. Read more

st veronus still has wonderful tasty food. I especially love the stoemp. BUT they no longer have a lunch menu- which means having lunch here is now much more expensive than it used to be (ie. the stew used to be $11 for lunch, now its $18 off the generic menu). because of this- I likely will only come here for dinner now as Peterborough has lots of other reasonably priced lunch options. What a treat we had in Port Perry after a couple of hours out on the water. The main dining room was full so we were shown a table in a private room which we had all to ourselves. Both the service and the food was excellent. The owner, Christie, was friendly and down to earth making us feel very welcome. A couple of us had food restrictions which were easily accommodated. One thing that most reviews on here have not mentioned about Port Perry Thai is that they have a great lunch menu! There's something like 10 different choices, each with hot & sour soup and spring roll, for $7.95! When I worked in Port Perry I used to go here at least once a week, the food is absolutely awesome. The one complaint I would have is that they play classical music, which in itself isn't so bad, but they keep the volume at the lowest possible level! Weird. Read more
