They are well cared for, taken out to do their business in the fenced back yard, and when it is sunny out, have a wonderful day sun tanning, and playing in the pools... Best staff to dog ratio in the city, so you dog is being watched while they play, so as not to get over stimulated, and learn good dog manners from the more senior dogs. We were pretty impressed with the service here. My wife and I did their viewing appointment before we booked our 2 little dogs to stay here. While there we asked all the questions we had, and filled out all the paper work making it easy when it was time to drop them off. The kennels were fairly spacious and really clean. The couple running the business just genuinely seemed very nice and to really care for animals. We always prefer supporting mom and pop places too which is a plus here! Read more

Just wanted to publicly say thanks to Nicole and the staff at Trennant Park Pet Clinic. Our cat Lucy had been struck by a truck. The driver was kind enough to stop and care for her and track us down. She was in severe shock and needed immediate care. By the time we got to the clinic one staffer named Nicole was prepared for her and the Dr immediatley admitted her. She would require constant care and IV fluids for a number of days. Without insurance coverage we were very concerned about the costs of care. Due to her condition she could not be taken home so the staff at Trennant Park kept her hospitalized without any charge for those additional days. I was so impressed with their genuinely helpful attitude and concern for our pet that I will be using them from now on. We've been back for follow up and received the same genuine care. It's great to see that level of service. What I liked most is that everyone in the office seemed so sincere and just plain nice. Highly recommended! Read more

I cannot say enough good about Amherst. The staff is incredibly kind and highly professional. Our little dog, Casey, received the most gentle treatment and plenty of treats. When she became sick with mitral valve disease, Dr. Wark was always available and diligently cared for her. Casey did die, but, we are so thankful that her last months were filled with love. Amherst was a great support and continues to be as we nurse our 18 year old cat, Tiger, through her golden years. Dr. Yuen is making sure that Tiger enjoys every one of her nine lives. There have been several times where my heart was broken and I thought it was the end, but, through highly capable diagnosis, we still have our little girl. I can call anytime and come dashing in a minute before closing and I am always greeted by the kindest front end staff I could ever hope for.
