Went out to Papa Joe's for breakfast a couple weeks ago at the recommendation of a friend. We were met with a friendly face and voice from the moment we stepped inside. The food was superb, the portions were huge (almost needed takeout), the service was top notch and the owner came over personally to check how things were. Other than most people being Leafs fans, it was great so Mr. Bruin and his family will definitely go back. Read more

Went on Mothers Day worrying that we wouldn't get a table and wait for hours. The kind hostess mentioned that there was a wait but we were welcome to sit and eat at the bar. We did and it was one of the best lunch experiences I've ever had. The restaurant was clearly busy, but the bartender made time to take care of us, engage in conversation, and overall ensure that we had a great lunch. He was pretty cute too..;) Everyone was in a great mood, everything was clean, and despite the volume, the staff were awesome. I look forward to making a repeat visit and sampling other items on the apparently new menu....5 stars. Read more

Went there on Mothers Day, considering there was a line up and they were very busy for the bruch time. We got seated quickly and service was fast and friendly. My husband and I both ordered the ham and eggs breakfast, which came with toast, jam, and home fries. The ham wasn't greasy, the scrambled eggs were "real ", and the home fries were piping hot. Kudos to the cook in the kitchen. The coffee was hot, but too strong for my tastes. Charlene, our server, made sure our cups were topped up and that we were satisfied with our meal. Price of coffee is included in the price of breakfast, and if you're there before 11:30 there's a $1 discount per plate. We would definitely go again if we were passing through this area. Read more
