This little fish and chip shop on main street in Prescott is by far the best in the Ottawa area. I have tried a couple others in Brockville and still will drive out a little farther to have the food from here. It is take-out mostly but does have a sitdown type bar with a few stools for while you wait and the staff is always pleasant. The batter on the fish is wonderful, the filling is mostly fish and not batter alone, as some other places offer, and the fries are to die for also; never over cooked and home-made. They have stuffed mushrooms and recently when I was there a new menu item of the great fries with finely ground and seasoned hamburger and melted cheese with green onion and hot jalapena peppers -- hmm hmmm very good.
