I stayed at lakeview homes this past summer with my family. We have 5 kids, plus my parents and a visiting nefew! The house was perfect for us, spacious for all the kids, (and even a ping pong table!) clean and such amazing view! We had such a blast going into the backyard for early morning kayaking before heading out for the day, and usually again when we came home. Checked in with Rachel and she was very kind and helpful during it all, she made the process very smooth and walked me to the elevator!
Matt was a bartender I had at Persona in the casino and he was incredibly welcoming and made dining alone feel less awkward.
I was sick one day and was treated to a personalized letter and fruit tray from Pauline it was a unexpected and a welcoming surprise!

It was a totally decent place, everyone was really friendly. We were travelling (moving) with cats and I smuggled my kitties in and they kind of turned a blind eye. Besides that everything was clean and professional. You always know what to expect with this chain - reasonable price, clean, everything works. I'd stay here again if I had to stay in Nanaimo and just wanted a good place to sleep (as opposed to a Bed and Breakfast or something).
