I needed to take my elderly mother to a last minute medical appt. We needed wheelchair access and I was really nervous about the whole thing. However, all details were explained to me very professionally and the driver was prompt and so polite. My mother was actually singing and laughing in the back of the van. I have been going to Christina's for years, and i can honestly say that every time i go, it's a great experience. the waitresses are always lovely, and i really enjoy the homey atmosphere. Although I admit that the service can be a little slow at times, i also realize that i am not the one cooking the food, or serving it. i, as a customer, understand that there are things that happen behind the scenes that the waitresses nor the cooks can control, and that everybody makes mistakes sometimes. as far as the food, i like that it's all home made. there have been a couple times when the food was a bit over cooked for my liking, but it wasnt anything that would discourage me from going back. i think some people forget how hard it is to run a business. lighten up! one bad meal isnt the end of the world!

My husband and I have been to Boo's twice. On both occassions we had a wonderful time and meal (as well as wine).
The server was extremely gracious and considerate. He came to check on our meal a couple of times, but was not intrusive whatsoever (allowing for an intimate and romantic evening).
The food was delicious. The servings were of good size (in our opinion) -- I was very full when I left, as was my husband. We had crab cakes for an appetizer - these were rich in real crab meat with little filler. As for mains, I had a salmon dish (the special) and my husband had Boo's signature dish (a steak). Ingredients were fresh, and there was a nice serving of vegetables (also flavourful and well done).
It is a quiet atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We will definitely go back.
