I always thought that the area needed a sushi place, as in the area of Bathurst/Finch and Bathurst/Sheppard there were no sushi places. In fact, the nearest sushi place was located on Yonge St. My family had the AYCE dinner (the dinner is 18.95 from Monday to Thursday and 20.95 for Friday and the Weekend). The sushi quality was really good, and I noticed that many of the other clients chose to order the sushi using the regular menu (the non AYCE option). In addition, The Sashimi slices were really big and very fresh. I also liked the environment of the Restaurant, and found the costumer service to be very good. I would definitely recommended to visit this restaurant! Read more

Bangkok Thai Cuisine was fantastic! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the service was excellent. The owner is lovely and so personable, along with her staff. We started off with the Appetizer Assortment which was soooo good and made us excited for what was to follow. We opted for the Pad Thai and we were not disappointed – it was perfectly prepared with just enough sauce and plenty of chicken and tiger shrimps. Finally, we had the Chicken Cashew and the Mixed Vegetables. Both were excellent! Overall, everything was absolutely delicious and so fresh. We will definitely be returning! Read more

I loved the food at Golden Bell. Newmarket has a lot of Thai restaurants and while most of them are good, I feel this one greatly stands out as the best. They have a very inexpensive lunch menu and a quaint dining room if you don't opt for take-out. The service is nothing spectacular as far as dining in goes but it is passable. I recently read about Panino Cappuccino in the Toronto Sun. There was an article talking about this "hidden gem". I would have never expected such a cute Italian restaurant to have been in the small Weston rd. plaza I pass by every day. Well kudos to the author because they were totally right! I decided to give it a try! I took my girlfirend one Friday night & the place was packed! We were however greeted right away and scored a corner booth! We shared the Italian Springs Rolls (UNREAL!) to start. I had the penne alla vodka and my friend had the seabass which was the special for the night. The food was exceptionally good and definately impressed my friend and I. The servers were also great & the atmosphere was very cozy. On our way out we even had the opportunity to meet one of the brothers/owners 'Fabio' who was also very nice. Can't wait to go back for more yummy spring rolls! Read more
