My husband and I had heard about this new little restaurant downtown and decided to go in for a bite to eat. The decor is so relaxing. Beautiful antique tables, candles, jazz playing in the background. Our server was excellent, very warm and professional. For drinks there was a variety of hand crafted beers which made my husband happy ( I stuck to wine, not much of a beer drinker ). We shared the mussels to start , which were the best I've ever tasted. The sauce was fabulous! I then had the chicken valentino , and my husband had the roast beef. The food was superb! This place is it! I highly recommend it for a romantic evening out. Will be back! Read more

Just had dinner at the bistro and it was fantastic. The service was great and the waitress was very helpful and answered all the questions we had about the menu and drinks. She was very personable and made the evening very enjoyable. The food was fantastic. We had the crab and shrimp cakes and bruschetta for appetizers which were great. All four of our entrees were hot, flavourful and delicious. We had two pasta dishes, lamb chops and a chicken dish which were all delightful. We were able to substitute sides without a problem or fuss from the waitress. We also had two desserts which were also fantastic. I have been to the bistro now four times and very time I have had something different and it has always been great. No complaints about anything. Great evening and atmosphere with a fantastic meal. I would definitely come again. Their pizza is delicious and so filling. I ate a whole one by myself at their two for one specials. My only complaint is the size of the place, which was really crowded because my friend and I had to squeeze around people and their tables. Not much moving room. That's all.
