Small family restaurant with excellent food, both North American style Chinese food and more traditional Cantonese and Sichuan foods. Large portions and very good prices made fresh and prepared surprisingly quickly. Regarding the ambiance: They have tables, chairs and air. That is about all the atmosphere you are going to get. Best service I've got in a long time.Honest and fair. Because he was behind a little with another car my pick up time got moved ahead by 2 hours. He apologized and offered to bring my car to me. I told him that was not necessary but appreciated the offer. I know he felt bad about it. Will not think twice about going to him again.Will also recommend his garage to everyone I know. Such a nice man with great customer service. Thank-you.

The Cheshire Cat Pub is a unique British style pub just outside of Kanata. When you walk in past the red telepone booth, it feels really authentic with the unusual "kitch" that you would find in pubs in England. We were just there, and found that they had taken off most of there regular drafts to replace them with Ontario craft beers. My husband was sad to not have a pint of Erdinger, but we learned that they were doing this to honour Ontario Craft Brew Week and found ourselves trying The Flying Monkey and a pint of Neustad 10w30 (beers I had never heard of!) Good for them we thought! We also learned that most of the menu incorporates local produce, meat and dairy. Anyway, the food was amazing! Pub fare, but with serious style. I had the Chicken Curry, my husband had the hamburger special and our friends both had the fish and chips.
The service was friendly and laid back and the owner came up to introduce himself and made us feel like we had been coming for years. It was hopping busy! This is truly one of those places that we will return to time and time again! We can't believe we waited this long to come in!

We had a variety of items and beers. Food was good (especially the F&C) , service was acceptable ( it was packed) and the environment was fun. We all had a great time and we plan to meet back again ..same place , same time!
