My boyfriend brought me to Mariaggi's Theme Suite Hotel and Spa for my birthday. I had no idea where we were going and had never even heard of this place before last night. We had an amazing mini vacation. We stayed in the Morocco suite. The room has such a wonderful atmosphere. There were all kinds of artwork and statues throughout the suite. It had beautiful tile work and the attention to detail was extremely well done. Morocco had a waterfall hot tub. The hot tub filled like a waterfall and we could turn a switch and it flowed through the hot tub as well as through the jets. The steam room had speakers inside. There was a really great stereo where we could hook up our Ipod/Iphone. The big TV swiveled and we could watch our movie from the hot tub or anywhere in the suite. The dinner was served to us in the suite and it was hot and delicious. We had the couples massage the next day and we had such a relaxing morning - I really did not want to leave. On check out we viewed Africa and Mexico which were also fantastic. The owners showed us the 1,000 sq.ft. Cuba suite they are building on the other side which will have its own out door deck and a pool table, waterfall hot tub etc.. Thank you for the great service, food and getaway place. They have such an array of different types of cuisine, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who didn't like at least SOMETHING on the menu! From pitas, to pizzas, to noodles in a box, to usual american chicken fingers/fries/fish, to amazing and unique soups and more, there isn't a thing on the menu they don't make well! The first time I went there, I ordered the curry vegetable noodles in a box, and asked for it without onions. The lady working there told me that unfortunately, the veggies come pre-mixed... but that she would try and pick them out for me! Recently ordered a custom birthday cake on short notice (less than a week). Ive contacted a bunch of bakeries around town and they would only take the order with a ridiculous surcharge. After I explained my circumstance, Cakeology actually came up with a solution for me so that I can still have my custom cake in time. They were very accommodating and helped me make this cake happen. We were referred to Black's when our mum passed away. She was an avid collector of books, and we wanted to get an opinion on the value of some older books in her collection. Adam and Ana came out to her home in Toronto, and were so helpful and diligent and honest in their approach. We ended up selling most of the collection, and consigning a few of the more valuable ones with them. It was sad to see the collection go but we were happy that they will get to good homes.
