Hold the bacon! If you're a bacon fiend, The Village may not be for you but they certainly make up for it with their smoked meat. Smoked meat bennys with a tasty hollandaise, a bagel with lox, and tasy coffee rounded out our Sunday breakfast. We were able to walk right in but a crowd started to form shortly after, so arrive earlier if you don't want to wait. There's limited seating but the restaurant is airy and casual. Grab a seat outside if it's a nice day and enjoy quiant Estevan Village - they even provide blankets for those chilly days!

Not my typical kind of bar. Here for a work party. Was ready to finish up my last (full) beer when the bottom of the cup completely fell off as I went to take my first sip.
The Manager was extremely gracious and refunded my entire entre (27 dollars), and 3 beers. Obviously I’m happy about the freeness, being soaked sucked, but service like that is how you keep returning customers. Great attitude towards the whole thing. Very kind staff.

It was my first time being at Cactus Club West on Broadway & Granville. My experience there was phenomenal! Not only was the food delicious, our server Emma F definitely made the night for us and she will be someone we won’t forget! It was a super busy night and she made everyone feel exceptionally welcomed and comforted. Every restaurant needs more servers like herself!

For the last year I have been making Beach Grove Cafe a place for meeting my friends because I can always depend on friendly service and delicious coffee! In the warm weather I love their outdoor patio area and even in colder weather they have heaters for the front tables. Inside it is cozy and filled with all kinds of wonderful things for sale. The coffee is very well made and I have always found the food to be fresh and a interesting selection of choices. My son likes to go there with his friends in the summer to get ice cream cones! Yes, they even have ice cream!

I'm at Melriches at least 3 times a week, sometimes 5, depending if I wake up early enough and have time. I love this place, and have been going here for the last 6 years.
The coffee is from Bean around the World and is delicious, the atmosphere is great, the music is always interesting, and the food! Everything is made fresh, and the muffins are incredible. People don't realize they can make full breakfasts in that little kitchen area, but they do!
The owners are sweethearts and the baristas are always laid back and friendly. The place can get a little cramped at times, but it's because everyone and their dogs go there. They have a patio in the back which is great for dog owners, and they have a community board with all sorts of postings. They showcase art from local artists, and sometimes even have open mics!
All in all, love this place, and you will too.

A definite must for anyone looking to chill out in a funky downtown spot. Expect to wait on busy nights, I've been there twice now and each time had to wait 10 minutes for a table but the wait is worth every second...not to mention that they will bring you your first drink order to sip while you wait for a table to come free.

I had the Hunter Chicken which was so tender I didn`t need a knife to eat it. My wife had the halibut tacos which she enjoyed tremendously.
The service was exceptional.
We also LOVED the fact that they were kid friendly in providing my little girl with an ``etch a scetch`to play with.

The Prospect Point Cafe is located just beside one of the most spectacular views in Vancouver. Get a seat where you can enjoy the view while you eat or trek down to the lookout point to get your fill of the view before or after you get your fill of the great food on offer. This is definitely a tourist restaurant but i think the locals should come here more often becuase they offer a great selection of mains, burgers, sandwiches, pasta and beer-battered fish and chips. They also serve brunch on the weekends! Go for the view and stay for the food at the Prospect Point Cafe!

My friend took me here for dinner on Thursday. We weren't too hungry so we had some appetizers instead... I had the tuna (excellent with the zesty sauce) and my friend had the poke. The girls who work at this place are quite visually appealing and I was amused that my friend was able to keep his eyes on me. It can be a little distracting when you're trying to eat ;-) The place was packed, which I guess is a testament to it's quality and presentation.
