Six karaoke songs that are almost impossible to mess up

There's no doubt that getting up in front of a large group of people to sing a song can be intimidating. These karaoke songs are so simple that you'd literally have to pass out on stage to mess them up.

6 karaoke songs that are almost impossible to mess up

1. 'Love Shack' by The B-52s

Although there are a few changes in tempo, simply knowing the beat of this song is enough to ensure an epic karaoke jam. The chorus is really just a single sentence, and the song's title makes up a large portion of all the words contained in the song. There aren't any quick changes to worry about, and even someone who doesn't know the words should be able to easily keep up with them on screen.

2. 'Ghostbusters' by Ray Parker, Jr.

This song was created solely to be part of the Ghostbusters movie franchise. Parker was only given a few days to write the song, and this shows in the song's ability to be sung expertly by the drunkest of bar-goers. There are only a few sentences in the entire hit, so it should be impossible to mess this one up. When you need an easy karaoke song to impress people, who ya gonna call?

3. 'Tubthumping' by Chumbawamba

Chumbawamba's one-hit wonder can easily be yours as well due to its simplicity. The song's chorus is two sentences repeated over and over again. Take a second to look up the lyrics to this song and you'll wonder why you didn't become a famous rock star yourself. Of course, you probably don't need to do this since you already know all the words. And if you don't, skip looking them up. You literally won't need to.

4. '500 Miles' by The Proclaimers

Everyone always equates singing karaoke to actually singing, but '500 Miles' by The Proclaimers completely blows this assumption out of the water. The song is more spoken in an upbeat voice rather than actually sung. The beat is simple to keep up with, and you'll basically just spend three and a half minutes talking.

5. 'Stay' by Lisa Loeb

'Stay' is another song that basically consists of simply talking in an upbeat fashion; you'd be hard-pressed to mess up on this one. Don't be surprised, though, when the quicker tempo of the bridge and chorus come up. 'Stay' is definitely the easy song to do when you haven't spent all day at the bar. When you have, though, there's always our final easy song.

6. 'Tequila' by The Champs

Even if you've had too many shots of tequila, you can still sing 'Tequila.' That's literally the only word in the entire song, and there's no razzmatazz added. Seriously, just wait for your queue and say "Tequila!"
