July is packed with events for every foodie’s tastes, from beer festivals to night markets to a rose picnic, there is plenty of options to keep you busy (and your tummy full) this month. Brewers Backyard: Lester P. Beerson Day
Celebrate Canada Day at Brewers Backyard, honouring the 14th Prime Minister of Canada. Enjoy local craft brews and learn about the people behind the best beer in Ontario. For this Brewers Backyard, Great Lakes Brewery will be there, celebrating its 30th birthday.

Canada Day Tea
For a refined Canada Day celebration, Montgomery’s Inn is hosting a tea party. The tea party includes pinwheel sandwiches and a celebratory Canada 150 layer cake. There’s also children’s activities, historic cooking lessons and tours of the historic inn.

Canada’s 150th at Steam Whistle Brewing
Steam Whistle celebrates Canada’s 150th with a party on its patio, serving up signature brews and Canadian comfort food. Steam Whistle is also hosting the second annual Maple Glazed Doughnut eating challenge. Guests can build their own Caesar drink too!

Summerlicious
More than 150 restaurants are participating in Summerlicious this year! Once a year, gourmet and buzzed about restaurants open their doors and offer prix-fixe menus to the masses. Get ready for some delicious eats on the cheap!

Taste of Lawrence
Taste of Lawrence is a weekend filled with all the food and cultural experiences found in the Lawrence neighbourhood. There will be hundreds of vendors and local businesses opening their doors for the festival, plus live entertainment.

iYellow Presents: Bubbly Bar!
Pass the bubbly! iYellow is hosting an evening filled with sparkling wines from all over the world. They welcome you to taste more than 15 varieties and discover your new favourite sparkling wine.

Off-The-Island Lady Beer Fest
Canada’s first ladies-only beer festival had to make a location change this year, due to the flooding on Toronto Island, but a little flooding can’t stop one of the biggest festivals of the year! The Off-The-Island Lady Beer Fest showcases the best in local breweries and food in Toronto. All ticket-holders will receive a “morning after” gift bag.

Fusion of Taste Festival
The Fusion of Taste Festival celebrates the diversity of Canada, showcasing our unique take on fusion cuisine. There will be tonnes of food, live entertainment and more all afternoon and into the evening. No word yet on participating vendors.

T.O. Food Fest 2017
Celebrating Toronto’s foodie scene, the T.O. Food Fest invites everyone to join the party! Some of Toronto’s top rated restaurants will be there serving up their famous dishes, including Teppanyaki ice cream, stuffed lobster rolls and Asian- inspired macarons. The list of participating vendors has not yet been released.

Shoto dinner with Black Axe Mangal
Momofuku Shoto joins forces with U.K.’s Black Axe Mangal for an exclusive dinner! Chef Lee Tiernan and his crew serve up a feast of their unique cuisine for two nights only. Some of the proceeds will be donated to the SickKids Foundation. Reservations are required.

Pig Roast at the Cottage
The Citizen hosts a pig roast reminiscent of those long Muskoka nights. Chef Binh An Nguyen serves up a family-style dinner of whole roasted pig, beer can chicken and seasonal sides. There will be beer pairings from local breweries to complete the summer motif.

Summer Craft Beer Festival
The Summer Craft Beer Festival features some of the best local and international craft breweries alongside some of the best local food! Taste, learn about and discover trends, flavours and microbreweries at this one-day festival!

Night it Up! Night Market
The infamous night market is back this year and bigger than ever! Featuring the mosaic that is Asian cuisine, the Night Market offers up delicious cuisine, and live entertainment. A portion of the money made through vendors will be donated to the ALS Double Play, a charity that strives to make a difference in the lives of those who suffer from ALS.

Vaughan Pizza Fest
Vaughan Pizza Fest is all about pizza and live entertainment! Pizzerias from across the GTA, like Queen Margherita, Via Mercanti North, Tutti Pannini and more come together for the three-day event. There will be live performances from David Usher, Men Without Hats and Stevie B.

Halal Food Festival
From samples to shops to seminars, learn and discover the latest in Halal cuisine. A fast-growing niche on the culinary scene, the Halal Food Festival features the best in halal and includes an outdoor street fest!

Ontario Oyster Festival
The Ontario Oyster Festival is one of the most anticipated festival of the year for seafood lovers across Toronto. Rodney’s Oyster House invites guests to indulge in the province’s best oysters and seafood! General admission includes two drink tickets and one food ticket.

Italian Restaurant Week
Tour Toronto’s Italian restaurant scene for one week in July! 16 Italian restaurants have created a prix-fixe menu to showcase the 16 regional cuisines of Italy. Participating restaurants include Enoteca Sociale, F’Amelia, Mistura, Ardo and more.

Junction Night Market
In conjunction with the Junction Farmers Market, the night market promises the best in local food, craft beer, cider and wine! Here’s the best bit – everything is priced at $5. Vendors include Honest Weight, Café Polonez, Mildred’s Temple Kitchen and more!

Toronto Rosé Picnic
Toronto’s inaugural Rosé Picnic is promising to be an elegant affair. Held in support of the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, the picnic is hosted by celebrity chef Mark McEwan and his team who will be creating three picnic baskets paired with some of the best Rosé from around the world.

Bastid’s BBQ 2017
Bastid’s BBQ is back in its 7th year offering even more barbecue and beats than ever! This year’s participating DJ’s include Skratch Bastid, DJ Premier, Harrison, Dextrous One and more.

12 Beers of Summer
The Gladstone Hotel hosts its annual 12 Beers of Summer, a Hawaiian t-shirt wearing celebration of local brews! 12 breweries will be sharing their pilsners, lagers and all-time favourites. There will also be live music.

Toronto’s Festival of Beer
Toronto’s Festival of Beer is a weekend-long festival celebrating Toronto’s best beer, food and music. More than 80 breweries will be on site like Batch, Naughty Otter, Lost Craft and more. There will also be live performances from bands like Sloan, Method Man and Alan Doyle.
